Holy crap

Well this weekend has been intense (extreme even). Here's the breakdown:

Friday- "To the Sugar Shack!"

Well this has been a super busy week so by the time friday hit I was completely exhausted. I was tired from working really hard and from lack of sleep. So when Friday rolled around I was seriously considering hibernating especially since I had to come in and work on Sat morning. Well I thought about it (WWPSD what would party shannon do?) and decided to suck it up. Well Taryn and Ryan came over pretty much as soon as I decided that I wasnt going to wuss out. We had some drinks and then went to Festival (bar #1) to watch Becks band play (in a tent called the "Sugar Shack". We caught the last part of their set and grabbed the rest of our posse and headed to a bar in St Boniface (bar #2).

I was at the head of the line almost paying cover when everyone else decided we didnt want to be there. So we split into two groups and me and Taryn peed behind some parked cars (brrrr!). Then me and Tary, Beck and Jen went to meet the rest of our group at Times Changed (bar #3). We were there for like 10 min and then Beck told us he was supposed to be playing some little gig and that he was late. So we went to the Fort Gary hotel (bar #4) and he snuck us into a Festival VIP party where we got free drinks. So me and Taryn danced and partied our asses off (remember I have to work at 9:30am ) and eventually got kicked out. Great time.

Saturday "the longest day in the history of days" and Valentines day

So I woke up with a mini panic attack thinking that I had slept through my alarm clock (but I didnt). So just got up and tried to get ready the best I could (so tired, still a little drunk). Well I made it to work on time but I was seriously out of it. Well my co-worker was super tired, hung over and out of it too. It was super slow in the mall and time just crept by. Then it was finally time for me to be done work. I was having people over to pre drink before we went out for valentines day and because I went out and have been working so much, my apartment was a disaster and I had zero time to clean (no one seemed to mind so thats good).

Ryan, Marsha, Jen and Jesse came over and we rocked the card games (with my nudie male card deck of course, aka the Icky dicky cards). We headed over to Alive to dance and party it up. Well if you remeber back to the post about my bday and how I asked to guy this guy a drink and he turned me down (if not go read it). Well he was there last night and of course I confronted him about it (not in an obnoxious way). I finally found out that he didnt want me to buy him a drink because he thought I was out of his league. Wow, me. Thats crazy. Apparently I'm hot (who knew?). Well he ended up dropping me off and against his better judgement came up to my place. Well we kept it pretty PG and i would have to say that he wasnt the best kisser, in fact it was quite bad. Oh well, you cant win them all.

Sunday " the greatest day of all days"

I got to sleep in!!!! That was the most amazing thing ever. So far I've just been drinking lots of water, texting and of course, writing this post. I think me and Ryan might go see Coraline later. It sucks that today is my only day off because I have so many things I should do like laundry and dishes. This is technically a long weekend but I worked a full shift yesterday and tomorrow (the holiday) I'm working a double at IMAX (while getting paid for my other job, sweet!). So yeah I'd better take full advantage of this day and its lazy opportunities.
